Choosing our website provider I had this in mind we work with to guys Joe and John at engine rooms, Battle East Sussex  (https://www.engineroomweb.co.uk/), know job is to small and they are alway on the end of the line to ask answer any questions. Cannot recommend them enough, to our customer. We also clean their ovens.

We serve a lot of customers in and around Battle East Sussex, it’s a great place to live and work well worth a visit.

An Oven’s Self-Cleaner Mode Can Be a Fire Hazard

We often get asked about self cleaning ovens. They are great but alway follow the instructions, some helpful tips:

How Self-cleaning Ovens Work

  1. Remove all pans and foil from inside the oven before you clean. …
  2. Clean up as much baked-on food or grease as you can easily remove. …
  3. Lock the oven door. …
  4. Time the cleaning using the controls provided. …
  5. Let the oven cool after the cleaning cycle. …
  6. Wipe away ash residue with damp cloth.

Do self cleaning ovens really work?

SelfClean Ovens

The oven is cleaned by heat, at temperatures above normal cooking temperatures. During the cleaning cycle the oven is heated to about 880 degrees Fahrenheit (471° C.). At this temperature, food soils inside the oven decompose, leaving behind a small amount of ash.

The self-cleaning mode uses high heat to burn off spills and splatters. If you don’t clean out the food particles and puddles of grease prior to setting and forgetting, you’re playing with fire. If you want to utilize your oven’s self-cleaning mode, make sure you fully clean it beforehand. Alway remove non-stick trays, and anything that carries grease.
